Noble Gold Investments Review: Fees, Storage, and Record

Gold coins and a small gold bar on a green linen cloth beside reading glasses

Noble Gold Investments is a gold and silver IRA dealer based in Encino, California, with storage options in Texas, Delaware, and Canada. Its own website gives two different fee schedules, so the first step with Noble is to get the current numbers in writing.

Key points

  • Noble Gold says its gold IRA minimum is $20,000.
  • Two Noble Gold pages list different setup and storage fees, so ask which applies to you.
  • It names its custodians and its depository, which has facilities in Texas, Delaware, and Canada.
  • BBB shows an A+ rating and three complaints in three years, and we found no enforcement action.
  • Trustpilot shows a 4.9 TrustScore from 796 reviews.

Who is Noble Gold Investments?

Noble Gold sells gold, silver, platinum, and palladium for IRAs and for home delivery. The Better Business Bureau lists the business as started in 2016 and accredited since January 2017. It is based in Encino, California, and BBB names Collin Plume as President and CEO. The legal name on Noble's own website is Golden Bull, LLC, doing business as Noble Gold Investments.

Noble's "Who We Are" page says the company was founded by Collin Plume, and that he has more than fifteen years of experience in property insurance, commercial real estate, and precious metals. The same page says Noble has guided clients "for more than a decade," while the homepage says "more than 20 years." Neither page explains the difference, so ask if it matters to you.

You can reach Noble at (877) 646-5347. Its contact page doesn't list business hours.

Noble's homepage also features testimonials from Kevin Sorbo, Dave Rubin, and Seth Holehouse.

Fees and minimums

Noble Gold's gold IRA page says the IRA minimum is $20,000. The same page lists a $10,000 minimum for cash purchases delivered to your home. Its silver IRA page gives the same two minimums and the same fee table, labeled "Gold & Silver IRA."

The two fee schedules on its website do not match. As of October 16, 2026, they say:

FeeGold IRA pageSupport page
Setup (one time)$50$80
Custodian or maintenance (yearly)$125$275 flat yearly rate, covering custodial service and segregated storage
Storage (yearly)$160$150, segregated (part of the $275)

The gold IRA page also lists a $30 wire fee, a $75 fee for taking metal out as an in-kind distribution, and a $250 fee to close the account. Noble publishes these fees on that page, which makes them easy to check.

The support page says Noble only offers segregated storage, where your metal is kept apart under your name. It also says a $160 yearly fee "typically" refers to commingled storage, where metal is stored together with other people's. Yet Noble's own gold IRA page lists $160 for storage. We can't tell from the pages which figure is current. Ask Noble which schedule applies to you, and get it in writing before you fund the account. Our guide to storing physical gold explains the two storage types.

Does Noble Gold disclose its markup?

No markup percentages are published on the pages we read. The homepage says Noble has the "lowest fees in the industry," which is the company's own marketing claim. Fees are also not the same as the price you pay over spot. In a public reply on BBB, Noble said every client signs a Shipping and Transaction Agreement that sets out the average spread between purchase and sale prices. Ask for that agreement and for the price of each product over spot, in writing, before you buy.

Product mix

Noble's site lists gold and silver coins and bars, platinum and palladium coins, and a "Rare Coins" category. Noble says its rare coins are independently graded and certified by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) or the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS), and that each comes in a sealed holder. Its rare coins page marks some bullion products as "IRS Approved" but doesn't say whether the rare coins shown can go in an IRA, and it gives no prices. Ask whether each coin you're offered is IRA-eligible and what it costs over spot. Read coins vs. bullion before your call.

Royal Survival Packs and home delivery

Many reviews mention Noble's Royal Survival Packs. Noble's support page says these are sold for cash purchases, outside an IRA, "From $5,000 to $500,000." It offers a Noble Ambassador Survival Pack to clients outside the U.S. Its home delivery page says your metal ships in a plain, unmarked box called the Royal Survival Pack, through Noble's "fully insured Noble Express service, with delivery in about five business days."

One detail to check: the support page starts the packs at $5,000, while the gold IRA page lists a $10,000 minimum for cash purchases with home delivery. Ask Noble which minimum applies to the order you have in mind, and what each pack contains.

Accounts you can move to Noble

Noble's support page lists the accounts it can help you move: "401k, 403b, 457b, TSP, Roth, SEP or SIMPLE IRA, and some pensions." Its gold IRA page names both Traditional and Roth gold IRAs. The support page says transfers typically take 3 to 7 days, and the gold IRA page says rollovers typically finish within 5 to 10 business days. Ask which applies to your account.

Custodian and storage

Noble's support page names Equity Institutional as custodian for gold IRAs and New Direction IRA Services for silver IRAs. Its transfer FAQ also mentions Equity Trust, so ask which custodian will hold your account. Storage is with International Depository Services, with locations in Texas, Delaware, and Mississauga, Ontario, near Toronto. Noble says holdings are insured under an all-risk policy underwritten by Lloyd's of London.

Naming its partners clearly is a strength. Noble's gold IRA page highlights the Texas depository for buyers who want their metal stored there. Noble's Texas storage page says that facility is run by IDS in Dallas and that clients can visit it to see their holdings.

Buyback terms

Noble's support page says, "We offer a Buyback program to ensure that you are not left with the task of finding a buyer." Its homepage calls this a "top-rated buyback program," which is Noble's own description. We did not find written terms or a pricing formula. Ask how Noble sets buyback prices for the exact products you're considering, and whether the Shipping and Transaction Agreement covers it. See selling gold from an IRA.

Complaint history

As of October 16, 2026, the Better Business Bureau shows an A+ rating, three complaints in the last three years (one in the last 12 months), and 241 customer reviews averaging 4.98 out of 5. The Business Consumer Alliance shows a AAA rating and says it has received no complaints about the company. On Trustpilot, Noble has a 4.9 TrustScore from 796 reviews, 93% of them five stars. Trustpilot shows the profile as claimed by the company and says Noble has replied to every negative review.

The three BBB complaints with published text:

  • February 2026, product issue (marked Resolved). A customer questioned whether some silver coins were pure. The customer later wrote that further testing satisfied them the silver is pure, but said they had wanted a faster call back.
  • July 2025, billing issue (marked Answered). A customer said fees and spreads on a silver purchase and later buyback were not clearly disclosed, and described them as a flat fee of around 40%. Noble replied that it "does not charge a 40% fee," that fees are not hidden, and that the spread is set out in the Shipping and Transaction Agreement the client signed. Noble later wrote that its CEO spoke with the customer and that it considers the matter resolved.
  • December 2023, customer service (marked Answered). A customer said a sales associate gave them wrong information about a state rule on a purchase and that emails went unanswered. Noble replied that its associate gave correct information, cited the rule it relied on, and said it tried to contact the customer.

We searched the CFTC, SEC, and FTC websites on October 16, 2026, and found no enforcement action naming Noble Gold or Golden Bull, LLC. The Business Consumer Alliance also says it has no record of government actions.

The only federal case we found has Noble's company as the plaintiff: Golden Bull, LLC v. Kirk M. Elliott, in federal court in Los Angeles (case 2:23-cv-06190). It reached federal court in July 2023. On September 5, 2023, the court dismissed Golden Bull's claims without prejudice for lack of personal jurisdiction, which means the court found it was not the right place to hear the case. It did not decide the claims themselves.

Sales experience, as reported by customers

We have not yet called Noble Gold as a prospect. Its BBB reviews average 4.98 out of 5, and recent ones often praise individual reps. Noble doesn't say on the pages we read how its sales staff are paid. As with any dealer, ask for written prices and take time before you decide.
